We are a family run business located in the picturesque Usk Valley in South Wales providing quality stud services.

The brainchild of Louise, and her partner Adam, Welsh Alpaca Stud was established in 2017 to offer a quality stud service to alpaca owners.
The original Welsh Alpaca Stud males were sourced from the fabulous people at Amazing Alpacas, and now provide a breeding service for their clients as well as other local owners.

**New for 2023 - with over 14 years stud servicing and 100+ registered cria we have taken the decision to retire our grey stud Greystoke. In his place we have his striking son Encore Bane. Bane is a perfectly conformed grey stud who is friendly and proven with his first cria due this summer. We are pleased to welcome Bane to the Welsh Alpaca Stud herd, who is available for booking along Monty, Orioko and Usk Centurian**
Our Studs have all been bred to be healthy and quality animals with excellent conformation and fine fibre. We only look for the best attributes and characteristics in our Studs and so we can safely say that our herd are strong, alert, inquisitive and nice natured.
We treat them with respect and kindness and, in return, they are easy to handle and well behaved. Our studs live happy, stress free lives and are focused on the job in hand.
We have a wealth of knowledge and experience, having worked with alpacas for over 19 years. Our in depth understanding of genetics and the breeding process ensures we can offer sound advice on stud selection, if you need it. We are always happy to discuss the options available with you.
